Apple’s new line up of products

Apple has once again gone all out as they release their newest line of products at their most recent event.

They kicked the event off with some Apple Watch updates such as colours for the basand of it and straps. Apple will work with Hermes to design new bands. Apple is also adding Facebook messenger, iTranslate and Airstrip.

They then went on to release the iPad Pro which will be the biggest iPad they have released being at 12.9 inches. They said the new iPad is faster than 80% of current portable computers. It has 10 hour battery life and four speaker audio. It also has the higher resolution of any IOS device. It comes in silver, gold and space grey. The iPad starts at $799.

They are also released the iPad mini 4 starting at $399 but went into little detail about it.

Along with the new iPads, they released the Apple Pencil which may sound a bit silly but looks quite impressive. Apple want you to do everything on your iPad it seems. The pencil comes at $99. They have also released a new smart case for the iPad Pro which is priced at $129. The pen which is basically a stylus is something what Steve Jobs hated. He said in 2010 “if you see a stylus or a task manager they blew it”

Cook then spoke about about Apple TV. The new version comes with a new remote where it has touch experience built into the remote. It also has a Siri button. Siri will search iTunes, Netflix, Hulu, HBO and Showtime.

Apple went into depth about the new features of Apple TV, mostly Siri based. You ask Siri things during watching, like the weather and sports scores. Built on OS they have released tvOS. It has its own apps and you can buy games and play them on the TV. It costs $149 for 32 GB and $198 64 GB.

Then of course they went onto the iPhone. They are called the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S plus. The new version of multi touch is 3D touch.  Which works with how heavy/long you touch the screen. The iPhone prices start at $199 for the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus starts at $299

The finished off with the new iPhone Upgrade Plan where you can update your phone every year for $32 a month.

We will have to wait to see what happens with Apple but possibly the iPad Pro could outsell the iPhone. We also expect for the new Apple TV to surpass expectations.
